I studied Anthropology at the University of California, in San Diego, as well as Linguistics (TESOL) at the University of Surrey, in Guildford, England. Currently, I am doing research at the University of Surrey, UK, which addresses an appropriate framework for teaching intercultural communication in the business English. I teach business English and run seminars for the international Master’s students at the University of Applied Sciences in Weingarten; and I teach international business and management communication at the University of Applied Sciences in Konstanz. I am also a freelance intercultural communications trainer, with a special interest in American and German working relations. I am a member of the IATEFL/BESIG English teachers’ association; in the past I was a member of the committee and the newsletter editor. Born in California, I have lived in Germany for 25 years. |
